Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Environmental Management System across Pakistan, ensuring compliance with all local laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Identify legal requirements in social and environmental compliance and ensure facilities adhere to them.
  • Oversee accurate and timely reporting to Group and local Environment Protection Bureaus.
  • Represent the company in meetings with local authorities and ensure compliance with ZDHC, ZWTL, and other sustainability milestones.
  • Update and maintain the Chemical Inventory List and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) per GHS standards.
  • Conduct CR internal audits, lead corrective action plans, and coordinate brand and external compliance audits.
  • Deliver supplier code audits and drive the implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Manage community engagement programs and support ESG reporting as per Group requirements.
  • Report environment incidents and near-misses via Intelex and other channels.
  • Support Cluster Compliance & CR Manager in the delivery of global and local compliance projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Textile Engineering.
  • 7–8 years of experience in Compliance or Environmental Management roles within the textile industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial processes, sustainability standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead Auditor certification in Environmental Management Systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ZDHC, ZWTL, and ESG reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and compliance management tools such as Intelex.
  • Ability to lead audits, manage corrective actions, and engage with multiple stakeholders.
