What You'll Do:

  • Lead by Example:
    Drive the design and development of our backend systems using Laravel, ensuring that our architecture is scalable, efficient, and high-performance.
  • Team Leadership:
    Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of backend developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.
  • Architect Solutions:
    Lead the design and implementation of
    robust APIs, microservices, and data architectures
    that power our platform.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
    Partner with
    product, frontend, and DevOps
    teams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions that meet both business and technical needs.
  • Ensure Quality:
    Champion best practices for code quality, security, testing, and deployment, ensuring that we build maintainable and secure solutions.
  • Optimize Performance:
    Continuously identify opportunities to improve system performance and scalability, resolving bottlenecks and optimizing code and infrastructure.
  • Innovation:
    Stay on top of the latest Laravel updates and industry trends, bringing new ideas and innovations to the table.

What We're looking for:

  • Laravel Expert:
    You have
    5+ years of backend development
    experience with deep expertise in Laravel, including modern features like
    Eloquent ORM, queues, jobs,
    and
    Laravel Passport.
  • Proven Leader:
    You've successfully led development teams, mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • API & Microservices Architect:
    You have a track record of building and scaling
    RESTful APIs
    ,
    microservices,
    and databases, always keeping performance and reliability top of mind.
  • Cloud & DevOps Proficiency:
    You're experienced with
    cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker,
    and
    CI/CD
    pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring.
  • Problem-Solver:
    You thrive on tackling complex challenges and optimizing systems to deliver superior performance and user experience.
  • Passionate & Continuous Learner:
    You're always learning, whether it's new Laravel features, emerging technologies, or best practices to improve development processes.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):

  • Expertise with
    Laravel Livewire
    for dynamic
    UIs
    and
    Laravel Blade templating.
  • Experience with
    Laravel Sanctum
    and Passport for
    API security and authentication.
  • Familiarity with
    Laravel Horizon
    to monitor and optimize background job processing.
  • Experience in building event-driven architectures and message queues
    (e.g., Kafka, Redis).
  • Knowledge of
    GraphQL
    for flexible and efficient API development.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like
