We are seeking a highly skilled
Lead Backend Developer
with
expert-level proficiency in Laravel
to lead the development and maintenance of our backend systems. As a key member of the engineering team, you will architect robust, scalable solutions while mentoring a talented group of developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance backend systems using
    Laravel
    .
  • Manage and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, code quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and efficient APIs and services within the Laravel ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, DevOps) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Enforce best practices in code quality, security, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing systems for scalability and reliability.
  • Stay current with emerging Laravel features and industry trends, integrating them into the development process.

Qualification:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development with
    expertise in Laravel
    and PHP.
  • Strong knowledge of modern
    Laravel
    features, including
    Eloquent ORM
    ,
    queues
    ,
    jobs
    ,
    Laravel Forge
    , and
    Laravel Passport
    .
  • Proven experience building
    RESTful APIs
    ,
    microservices
    , and database architectures (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Proficiency with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, GCP, Azure) and
    containerization
    tools like Docker.
  • Hands-on experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
    , automated testing, and version control (Git).
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of mentoring developers and leading technical projects.
  • Ability to architect systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth experience with
    Laravel Blade
    for templating and front-end integration.
  • Familiarity with
    Laravel Livewire
    for dynamic interfaces and seamless interaction.
  • Experience with
    Laravel queues
    (e.g.,
    Redis
    ,
    RabbitMQ
    ) for managing background tasks.
  • Knowledge of
    Laravel Sanctum
    and
    Passport
    for API authentication and authorization.
  • Proficiency in
    Laravel Horizon
    for queue monitoring and optimization.
  • Understanding of
    Laravel Mix
    for asset compilation and bundling.
  • Experience working with
    Laravel Nova
    for admin panel development.
  • Familiarity with
    GraphQL
    for building flexible APIs.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g.,
    Kafka
    ).
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies , React) is a plus.
