Lead Backend Engineer (Automations & Scraping Specialist)

Contract-to-Full-Time | Preferably Lahore (in-person), remote possible

We're hiring a Backend Engineer who can start immediately and is highly skilled at building automations and scraping systems. This role is focused on backend engineering and product features, with AI as a supporting layer.

What You'll Work On:


• Build and scale backend services & APIs (Ruby on Rails, Node, Python).


• Develop automation-heavy products (scrapers, bots, data pipelines, workflow tools).


• Integrate with platforms like Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, CRMs, and payments.


• Build dashboards and product features in React.


• Implement multi-tenant architecture, permissions, and security protocols.


• Deploy, monitor, and maintain services on AWS/GCP with CI/CD.

What We're Looking For:


• Cracked at automations and scraping — proven experience building scraping/data extraction systems.


• Strong backend skills in Ruby on Rails / Node / Python.


• Hands-on with databases, scaling queries, and indexing.


• Experience with React for frontend features.


• Comfort with third-party integrations (ecommerce, social, payments).


• Bonus: exposure to AI/LLMs, but not required.

You'll Be a Fit If:


• You've shipped automation-driven products (scraping, ETL, workflow bots).


• You're available to start immediately.


• You can move fast while still building scalable, reliable systems.
