Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Database Administrator located in Karāchi. The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting databases. Tasks include database design, replication, and ensuring database security and integrity. The individual will also handle performance tuning and optimization, backups, and recovery procedures to ensure database availability, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Database Administration and Database Design
  • Have an expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server & PostgreSQL
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills for databases
  • Experience with Database Replication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in the technology or software development industry is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
