We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and salary processing. This role requires accuracy, timeliness, and a commitment to maintaining financial records in compliance with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage accounts receivable by recording invoices, monitoring payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Handle accounts payable by verifying bills, preparing payment vouchers, and ensuring timely vendor payments.
  • Assist in salary processing by preparing payroll data, verifying attendance, deductions, and ensuring timely salary disbursement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support audits and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 6 months–1 year of relevant work experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP, Tally, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
