Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient
API / Integration Developer
to support our integration initiatives between next-generation AI call scoring systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). This role sits at the intersection of backend development, data engineering, and CRM customization. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain integration points that ensure accurate, reliable, and timely data flow into our custom call scoring section within D365. You will collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality API solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain API endpoints and webhook listeners to capture and process call scoring data from AI services.
• Map and transform inbound data to match the D365 schema for our custom call scoring section.
• Implement validation routines, error handling, logging, and retry strategies for failed integrations to maintain data integrity and service uptime.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for API contracts, data flows, and integration processes.
• Collaborate closely with the Power Platform Developer to coordinate automation triggers in D365.
• Participate in rotational QA cycles, validating API transactions and ensuring call scoring data is correctly reflected in D365.
• Monitor integration workloads and provide timely resolutions to issues.
• Recommend and implement architecture improvements for scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional experience in API development and system integration.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, TypeScript or JavaScript, with hands-on experience creating custom API endpoints and webhook listeners.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API principles, HTTP request/response lifecycle, and asynchronous processing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 APIs, plugin development, and customization of entities.
• Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Logic Apps, or custom connectors).
• Knowledge of Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and other integration-focused Azure services.
• Proficient in data serialization formats (JSON, XML) and schema mapping/transformation techniques.
• Strong background in implementing retry logic, queue-based processing, and error handling strategies.
• Experience with secure API design (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys) and best practices for authentication/authorization.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Background in integrating AI or machine learning service outputs into business workflows is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated deployment processes.
