IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Lead the strategic direction, planning guidelines and evolution of the organization`s wireless and wireline core & IP network. This role ensures that the network aligns with current and future business needs, technological advancements, and industry trends. The Position reports directly to VP Technology Strategy and Transformation and is expected to be filled with a highly experienced and hands on candidate that can work independently.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Lead the strategic development and roadmap definition for CS Core, PS Core, VAS, and IP networks across fixed and mobile domains, ensuring alignment with evolving market trends, emerging technologies, and organizational business objectives.
• Drive network modernization by identifying transformation opportunities across end-to-end Core and IP infrastructure. Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, scalability, and customer experience enhancement.
• Drive cost optimization by identifying CAPEX and OPEX saving opportunities throughout the network lifecycle, while leading five-year core network business planning and budgeting in close collaboration with Commercial, Finance, and Procurement teams.
• Actively participate in architectural design, technology evaluations, and cross-domain collaboration. Strategically lead initiatives in virtualization / Containerization, cloud-native architecture, and platform consolidation across LTE/5G Core, Fixed Core, IP/MPLS backbone, VAS platforms, and advanced IP networks.
• Adaptation of new technologies into the network based on vendor roadmaps and business demands, including investigation and execution of proof of concepts across network domains.
• Lead awareness-building and advisory efforts on technology innovation, cloud-native architectures & DevOps frameworks including Network Slicing, MEC, Open RAN, SDN/NFV, and AI-powered Networks at senior leadership levels.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

• Bachelor`s in Electrical (Telecommunication)

Experience:

• Hands-on experience in Fixed and Mobile Core Network inclusive of at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Technical Competency:

• infrastructural requirements of Core & IP networks.
• Experience of Vendor Pre-Sales, Mobile Operator and Technology Strategy & Planning
• Emerging Global Core & IP Technology & Market Trends
• Technical Evaluation of Core & IP Solutions (RFPs, BOQs etc.)
• Knowledge of downstream IT Systems for integrations
