Loan Officer

Intermediate along with 1-2 years of Microfinance experience.

Responsibilities:

  • To introduce Halan Microfinance Bank products and services to target population.
  • To follow-up the prospects by regular contact with the identified potential clients.
  • To propose new products and services to his current clients.
  • To identify clients' needs and propose new products/services to the management.
  • To ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
  • To assist the clients in loan application.
  • To conduct loan appraisal and to collect detailed information (personal, business, guaranties) on the field.
  • To present the loan request at the loan committee.
  • To monitor the loan portfolio and to ensure timely repayment.
  • To run a full cash flow assessment on the potential clients.
  • To carefully select the client on the basis of repayment capacity.
  • To size the loan according to the clients ability as per the policy guidance.
  • Relationship building and monthly follow up with clients over a period of 12-24 months.
