
Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, client meetings, and lead generation activities.
• Prepare and submit responses to RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents in coordination with technical and pre-sales teams.
• Draft proposals and quotations in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate with principal vendors/distributors for deal registrations, special pricing approvals, rebate programs, and promotional incentives.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to close deals profitably.
• Maintain and manage CRM records, opportunity pipelines, and client communications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct presentations and product demos to showcase solutions aligned with client needs.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and market positioning.
• Support marketing efforts including events, trade shows, and promotional campaigns.
• Follow up with customers for Purchase Orders (POs), coordinate with distributors for license deliveries, and ensure timely payment collection from customers.
Requirement :
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles (preferably in IT, software, or technology sector).
• Strong understanding of sales processes, RFP/RFQ submissions, and bid management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team environment.
