Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch trucks for deliveries and pickups.
  • Monitor driver locations, routes, and delivery progress using dispatch software.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries related to transportation schedules.
  • Address unexpected delays, emergencies, or breakdowns, providing quick solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatched loads, delivery times, and trip details.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Truck Dispatcher or in a similar logistics/transportation role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of GPS tracking systems, dispatch software, and transportation regulations.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, Google Sheets).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics is a plus.
