Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Water Treatment Operator located in Islamabad. The Water Treatment Operator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of water and wastewater treatment plants. Key tasks include monitoring and adjusting treatment processes, operating and maintaining pump stations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and performing routine plant maintenance and inspections. The role also involves data recording and reporting, troubleshooting operational issues, and coordinating with technical and maintenance staff to optimize the performance of the treatment facilities.

Qualifications

  • Plant Operations and Process Control skills
  • Experience in Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment
  • Skills in operating and maintaining Pump Stations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and regulatory standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications and hands-on experience in water treatment operations are a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in water/wastewater treatment is advantageous
