Position Overview
: We at Cresset are looking for a qualified and experienced
Senior / Manager Taxation
to join our group. The ideal candidate will be a certified Tax Practitioner with extensive core taxation experience. This is a strategic role, requiring a professional who can manage tax matters independently, ensure compliance, and represent the organisation in front of regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

ü Manage and oversee all the direct and indirect tax matters of the group, including Income Tax and Sales Tax.

ü Ensure full compliance with tax laws and regulations across federal and provincial jurisdictions.

ü Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, statements, and documentation.

ü Lead the handling of notices, audits, and hearings with tax authorities.

ü Provide expert guidance on tax planning, risk assessment, and cost optimisation strategies.

ü Keep up to date with the latest changes in tax laws and advise management accordingly.

ü Collaborate with external consultants and legal advisory where needed.

ü Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with statutory requirements.

ü Liaise with internal departments to ensure tax compliance and accurate reporting.
