The Role Overview

We are seeking a Visionary and Hands-on Creative Lead to drive the end-to-end execution of Digital Video Commercials (DVCs) and User-Generated Content (UGC) campaigns for our E-commerce clients. This is a 360-degree role where your expertise in Direction, DOP principles, and Post-Production leadership will be critical. You will elevate the final quality and efficiency of our in-house production and editing teams.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in video direction, cinematography, and managing the editing workflow, specifically for E-commerce and social media content.
  • Creative Ownership: Must possess a senior-level vision and sense of ownership to transform project briefs into high-quality, impactful final assets.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Direction & Cinematography: Strong command over setting the creative vision, deciding shots, framing, camera movement, and guiding the lighting setup.
  • Editing Proficiency: Full proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is a must-have. Knowledge of other software like DaVinci Resolve or Adobe After Effects is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Creative Direction and Execution

  2. End-to-End Execution: Lead the entire video production workflow, from concepting and script approval to final delivery, ensuring alignment with the client's goals.

  3. Vision Setting: Define the overall look, feel, tone, and creative vision for every DVC and UGC campaign.

  4. DOP Guidance: Provide precise and clear direction to the in-house camera operator and lighting team on set, focusing on visual quality and technical execution.

  5. Post-Production Leadership & Mentorship

  6. Editing Guidance: Act as the lead creative resource for the editing team. Provide high-level feedback, guide the cut's pace and flow, and ensure the final video meets technical and creative standards.

  7. Hands-on Contribution: Be willing and able to edit critical sections yourself or work directly with the editor when a hands-on approach is needed to achieve the desired cut.

  8. Workflow Improvement: Continuously seek ways to optimize production and post-production processes to meet the demands of a fast-paced, high-volume E-commerce environment.

  9. Operational & Client Management

  10. Flexibility & Adaptability: Must be comfortable managing a variable workload and thrive under tight deadlines.

  11. Quality Control: Ensure all videos adhere to branding guidelines, platform best practices, and required technical specifications (aspect ratios, resolution, etc.).
  12. Travel: Must be flexible and willing to travel for on-location shoots as dictated by client project requirements.
