Dun & Bradstreet Pakistan is looking for an
Assistant Manager - Finance
to join our team at the
Karachi office
.

Education:

  • Post-graduate qualification (CA / ACCA / CMA) or MBA in Finance with IFRS certification.

Experience:

  • At least 
    2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Preference for candidates with relevant exposure to IFRS, audit matters, and taxation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely compliance with local tax regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax requirements and addressing all tax matters/notices as & when applicable.
  • Ensure raising of invoices, computation of revenue details and follow up with Customers for timely collections with minimal bad debts and DSO.
  • Ensuring timely monthly reporting to Head Office, including MIS, Trial Balance, statutory schedules, and group Accounts Receivable (AR) management and reporting.
  • Preparing monthly payroll and share with HR for further review to seek approval from management for salaries payment.
  • Ensuring proper and accurate bookkeeping. All accounting entries are correctly posted in the accounting software on a timely basis and closing on a monthly & annual basis with accuracy and adherence to IFRS/local accounting standards.
  • Preparing, coordinating and completing of Statutory Audit on time with no significant observations from the auditors.
  • Managing supplier payments, ensuring proper documentation and utilization of credit periods, overseeing the filing of all necessary annual returns (tax, company registrar, etc.), and coordinating in group financial statement consolidation.
  • Supervising the finance team's daily tasks, providing guidance, and maintaining fixed asset registers, banking relationships, legal agreements, and other regulatory documents while supporting secretarial and compliance requirements as needed.

Required Skills & Personal Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
