About the Role

TeReSol Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design Engineer
to join our Hardware Department in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing multilayer PCB layouts for embedded systems and industrial-grade hardware solutions.

This role requires hands-on experience in PCB design, hardware integration, and design optimization, along with a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-speed, multilayer PCB layouts for embedded, analog, and digital systems.
  • Create schematics, conduct layout reviews, and generate BOMs using tools such as
    Altium Designer
    ,
    OrCAD
    , or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, and testing) to define and implement hardware architectures.
  • Perform hardware prototyping, bring-up, and debugging in lab environments.
  • Coordinate with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors to ensure
    Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
    and
    Design for Testability (DFT)
    compliance.
  • Maintain hardware documentation, version control, and project timelines.
  • Conduct signal integrity, thermal, and power integrity analyses (preferred).

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (
    Altium Designer
    ,
    OrCAD
    ,
    KiCad
    , etc.).
  • Experience in multilayer board design, including impedance control and high-speed routing (preferred).
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and SoCs.
  • Strong understanding of communication protocols (
    SPI

    I2C
    ,
    CAN
    ,
    Ethernet
    ).
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
