Accountability 1 - Strategic Planning: Develop an effective strategy for the Liability products proposition locally and internationally, managing the P&L for the liability products. Further devise a realistic but challenging annual business plan based on market segmentation, product design and customer trends, while monitoring key indicators including number of clients acquired annually, deposit relationship size per customer, portfolio volume growth & quality of client services offered.
Accountability 2 - Business Growth & Development: Organize and make efforts to support business development and growth aspects in order to ensure sustainable growth for the business via marketing activities, sales campaigns, overseeing sales & distribution efforts including sales force/channels management & participating in client calls for regular and HNW (Prestige Customers).
- Keeping abreast of any compliance and legal developments that may impact the Core Liability business of the bank. Distributes information throughout the bank as and when required for effective communication.
Accountability 3 - Awareness & Engagement: Working with the Marketing & Brand team for creating the right perception of the bank in terms of the offering. Developing annual Marketing Plan in conjunction with M&BM team for customer engagements, alliances, and activations along with ensuring overall training of staff.
Accountability 4 - Product Development & Operational Support: Participation in overall retail business of the bank providing support to operational staff and due diligence for new processes and systems.
Accountability 5 - Cross functional Coordination: Working with stakeholders to formulate and drive the implementation of business direction for presentation and promotion of products that is appropriate to product offering, fuels business growth, and supports the Bank's desired customer experience.
- Create a working relationship across cross functional teams including Operations, Bank Business Teams, Distribution, third Party companies and other cross functional groups across the bank.
Accountability 6 - Employee Management: Managing and motivating the Distribution & the Liabilities team.
- Monitors performance and appraise against assigned targets.
- Develop a strong team through effective recruitment, training, coaching and mentoring and grooms potential successors for all positions.
- Trains and develops staff, evaluates performance for managing the talent of staff effectively.
