Team Lead position in Accounts & Finance department, reporting to the CEO.

Responsible to supervise & advise team of Accounts Executive involved in day-to-day accounting tasks and periodic accounting activities. Primary POC for all accounts & finance related activities.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's OR Master's degree in Accounting / Commerce
  • Professional exposure to Finance field will be an advantage
  • Professional certifications (like ACCA, ICMA) will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum
    5 years
    of relevant experience in a similar capacity (preferably in IT / Services industry).

Essential Knowledge Set

  • Income Tax & Sales Tax relevant to businesses
  • Communication with banks
  • Coordination with tax lawyers & advisers

Key Supervision Areas

Standard Operations

  • Sales & Purchase invoices as per FBR & Provincial tax authority laws (SRB / PRA, etc.)
  • Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
  • Customer & vendor ledgers
  • Customer or v
    endor
    queries regarding invoice, taxation or payment
  • Staff queries on similar or other financial matters
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Overall accounts book keeping

Periodic Operations

  • Monthly tax filing
  • Monthly Payroll authorization
  • Contacts with banks maintaining company accounts

Annual Responsibilities

  • Banking facility renewals
  • Annual tax filing
  • Final accounting statements
