The Role:

We are looking for a proactive Financial Commercial Analyst to join our team at IDR. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a basic understanding of financial principles. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Bidding Coordination:

  • Collaborate with bidding team on project opportunities
  • Conduct initial project feasibility assessments
  • Develop pricing strategies and proposals

2. Expert Pricing and Budgeting:

  • Develop expert pricing models based on project requirements
  • Allocate budgets for experts based on project scope

3. Project Profitability Analysis:

  • Monitor project profitability daily
  • Ensure project achieves required profit margins.
  • Compare actual vs. budgeted costs and revenues
  • Identify variances and potential issues and report to senior management.

4. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare project profitability reports.
  • Analyze project performance by customer, shift, and geolocation
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Can prepare complex financial models.

5. Database Management:

  • Maintain project database with key metrics
  • Update project information and profitability data

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Accounting qualification such as ACCA/CA or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience at an Audit Firm. Preference will be given to people who have experience of working with the Big 4.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills

Other necessary skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and terminology.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Hands-on experience on QuickBooks Online is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in Power BI.
