Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated
Audit & Compliance Business Analyst
with strong knowledge of audit, finance, and internal audit methodologies. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with risk and compliance management software. This role bridges the gap between clients and our software development team, ensuring that client requirements are accurately captured, translated, and transformed into actionable workflows for developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Manager & Dev Team to ensure requirements reflect
    real-world audit scenarios
    (planning, execution, reporting).
  • Design and document
    financial processes, risk frameworks, and compliance flows
    relevant to banking/finance clients.
  • Conduct
    gap analyses
    between current audit processes and YANI's AI-driven solutions.
  • Help Project manager in creating
    user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams
    for dev teams.
  • Provide
    domain expertise
    in financial audits, internal controls, regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, PDPL, ISO regulations).
  • Define
    audit data requirements
    (risk assessment inputs, testing criteria, task monitoring sources).
  • Act as a
    knowledge partner
    for the CPO and client-facing teams in workshops, requirements gathering, and client demos.
  • Translate
    audit standards and compliance regulations
    into systemized checks which the product can automate.
  • Help design how financial risks are measured in real time and make sure those risk checks are built into the product
  • Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and validation meetings with clients.
  • Support the testing and validation of audit/compliance modules to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Continuously monitor industry best practices and compliance standards (internal audit, risk management, regulatory frameworks) to enhance product capabilities.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise in audit and finance to guide the development of compliance-related features.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of
    audit practices, internal controls, and risk/compliance management frameworks
    (e.g., SOX, ISO, COSO, etc.).
  • Familiarity with
    internal audit and risk/compliance management software
    (such as TeamMate, AuditBoard, MetricStream, or similar).
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, and translating functional needs into technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to create process documentation, flow diagrams, and user stories.
  • Prior experience working with software development teams (Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred).

Preferred Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in audit, risk management, or compliance roles.
  • Hands-on experience with business analysis or client-facing roles in software projects.
  • Understanding of financial systems and enterprise audit practices.
