About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Writer / Business Analyst who can transform complex ideas into clear, structured, and actionable documentation. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business vision and technical execution, ensuring that both developers and end-users have access to accurate, comprehensive, and easy-to-understand resources.

This role requires someone with strong analytical skills, exceptional documentation expertise, and hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business vision and requirements into detailed and well-structured SRS, BRD, PRD, FSD, User Stories, Use Cases, Manuals, FAQs.
  • Develop and maintain developer-facing documentation (APIs, data models, workflows) and end-user content (guides, onboarding materials, tutorials).
  • Ensure all documents adhere to IEEE and ISO documentation standards.
  • Use version control systems to manage documentation updates.
  • Break down complex features into clear workflows, diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure clarity and alignment of documentation.
  • Utilize tools such as Confluence, Jira, and diagramming software to manage requirements and create visual representations.
  • (Optional) Contribute to prototyping and wireframing efforts where necessary.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer and/or Business Analyst, backed by a portfolio of past work.
  • Expertise in writing SRS, BRD, PRD, FSD, user stories, and technical documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of IEEE and ISO documentation standards.
  • Experience creating both developer-facing and end-user documentation.
  • Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, and diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, ).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex requirements into structured documentation and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with version control for documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with basic prototyping and wireframing using tools like Figma, Balsamiq, or similar.
