Senior Manager Finishing Operations

Overview:

Responsible for ensuring production enablers for finishing process (QC related actions, adjustment of parameters, optimization of production plan and coordination with R&D function i.e., sampling/ pre-production)

Responsibilities:

  • Review non RFT decisions, resolve all QC related concerns and align on rework and shortfall lots for finishing process related issues
  • Ensure finishing rework and shortfall are planned by the finishing planner to minimize delays in delivery
  • Finalize process/parameters for finishing re-work/ correction in coordination with Finishing Production Mgr (of relevant shift)
  • Align on Quality Lab decisions and finalize corrective measures
  • Ensure required program/ recipes/ parameters are available from R&D team for planned lots
  • Assess deviation of parameters set by Pre - production, lead adjustment and coordination to ensure corrected parameters are used
  • Coordinate with departments for inputs (e.g., dyed fabric, chemical store)
  • Review daily dyed lots and review finishing production plan to ensure timely deliveries and

compliance with planning rules (machine allocation, changeovers etc)

  • Conduct audits for finishing and lead corrective actions to ensure process control
  • Identify training requirements and lead sessions on technical and processs SOPs

Education & Relevant Experience:

A bachelor's degree in Chemical or Textile is preffered with 4 - 7 years of experience in finishing operations

OR

Diploma holder in Textile/Chemical with years of experince in textile finishing operations is preferred
