Garment Operations Supervisor

This position is responsible for overseeing all finishing operations of woven garments and work wear to ensure compliance with quality standards, buyer requirements, and production deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • The supervisor will lead the finishing section to achieve production targets in alignment with quality and delivery timelines.
  • In this role, you will supervise finishing processes including washing, pressing, stain removal, thread trimming, packing, labeling, and carton handling.
  • You are expected to ensure adherence to buyer specifications, AQL standards, and customer quality protocols.
  • The supervisor will plan manpower deployment, allocate tasks, and monitor performance of finishing staff.
  • Collaboration with Quality Assurance is essential to address defects and ensure right-first-time output.
  • Implementing lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives will be a key focus to reduce rework, wastage, and cost.
  • Maintaining accurate production and finishing records (daily output, rejections, packing lists, shipment reports) is crucial.
  • Promoting proper workplace discipline, safety compliance, and housekeeping within the finishing unit is also a priority.
