POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for executing quality control functions and ensuring that all activities comply with applicable regulations and standards. The role involves coordinating reporting lines, reviewing and updating SOP, and working under prescribed laboratory guidelines in accordance with company GLP/cGMP standards and all applicable SOPs, policies, and procedures. The incumbent must also ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, Halal, and EHS policies and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with
    Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
    and
    current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
    .
  • Follow the assigned
    daily work schedule
    and ensure timely completion of all laboratory tasks.
  • Ensure that all work is conducted as per
    approved specifications
    ,
    standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    , and
    applicable regulatory requirements
    .
  • Responsible for all
    microbiological activities
    within the plant.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain records of
    AAS standards
    .
  • Perform analysis using
    modern instrumental techniques
    as per approved methods.
  • Check and verify daily testing work for
    raw materials
    ,
    packaging materials
    , and
    finished products
    .
  • Conduct
    new analytical method development
    and
    analytical test method validation
    as per established protocols.
  • Ensure that
    Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
    and
    Halal Certificates
    are available and updated for all incoming materials in the QC laboratory.
  • Verify that all
    new source materials
    are approved by the
    Halal Certification Body (HSB), Pakistan
    , before use.
  • Update the
    approved vendor list
    following evaluation and confirmation by the Halal certification body.
  • Perform
    physical, chemical, microbiological, and instrumental testing
    as per authorized procedures, including:
  • Raw material testing
  • Bulk and semi-finished product testing
  • Stability testing
  • Water testing
  • Maintain
    stability study results
    , records, and related documentation.
  • Prepare and implement
    SOPs
    for new instruments and analytical techniques.
  • Perform accurate and timely
    data entry in SAP
    .
  • Ensure that all laboratory operations comply with
    GLP
    ,
    cGMP
    ,
    EHS
    ,
    ISO 9001
    ,
    ISO 17025
    , and
    Halal
    standards.
  • Ensure that all relevant
    quality standards and regulatory requirements
    are met daily.
  • Support and participate in
    customer and regulatory audits/inspections
    , ensuring full compliance and documentation readiness.
  • Continuously monitor and improve laboratory practices to maintain
    quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
    .
