The Role: We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant who possesses strong expertise in Pakistani tax laws and financial regulations.The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing accurate financial statements, and managing all aspects of tax filing and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain and update accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

· Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

· Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns (SRB returns), advance income tax, and annual income tax returns in compliance with FBR regulations.

· Handle all correspondence with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and ensure timely responses to any notices.

· Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable taxes and deductions.

· Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

· Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

· Stay updated on changes in Pakistani tax laws and accounting standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CA/ACCA/CMA Articleship or part-qualification will be a strong advantage).

· Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in accounting and tax filing within Pakistan.

· In-depth, hands-on knowledge of FBR's e-filing portal and procedures for Income Tax and Sales Tax.

· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially advanced Excel).

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (IFRS).

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.

· High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
