Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Karachi. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable and accounts payable data. The role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. The Accountant will also assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Ability to prepare financial statements and perform reconciliations
  • Analytical skills for budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus
