Accounts Associate (Receivables & Payables)

Salary:
50k–60k

Kickstart is Pakistan's largest coworking space operator, on a mission to create ease of doing business for SMEs, startups, and freelancers. With 15 operational spaces across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, we serve 5000+ members daily.

We are looking for
Accounts Associates (Receivables & Payables)
to join our growing finance team. These roles involve managing invoicing, payments, reconciliations, tax compliance, and supporting financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:


• Process and record payroll, loans, and employee advances.


• Process and posting building rent payments, including tax calculations.


• Pasting of entries including accruals, prepayments and amortizations


• Execute commission and incentive disbursements and its recordings.


• Process and record sales tax and withholding tax (WHT) payments


• Manage utilities and process payments within due dates and posting accruals.


• Processing and posting miscellaneous payments other than vender payables.


• Record all cash-related transactions


• Use corporate banking portals for efficient payment processing.


• Generate invoices based on approved requests.


• Process and record deposit adjustments and refunds.


• Follow up with members for outstanding payments.


• Create and manage deferred revenue entries.


• Match payments with proofs received and update records.


• Coordinate with clients for Tax deduction certificates.


• Handle CPR workings and filing & Calculate commissions.


• Support Community Managers with financial tasks.


• Manage member exit processes, including tax recoveries and refund.


• Follow up on international remittance matters with bank


• Membership contracts filing & Revenue analysis preparation.


• Assist with other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (B.Com/BBA).
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in receivables, payables, or financial operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and strong understanding of tax and payment workflows.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
