Job Summary:

Fusion Cortex under the Umbrella of RUSH Group, USA is looking for fresh Civil Engineers eager to start their careers in construction estimation and quantity takeoff. The selected candidates will be trained to analyze drawings, prepare quantity takeoffs, and support the estimating team in preparing cost estimates and bid documents. This role is ideal for graduates with technical aptitude, mathematical ability, and a strong will to learn estimation tools and construction practices as well as excellent English speaking and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·
      Assist senior estimators in reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents.

·      Perform basic quantity takeoffs for concrete, masonry, finishes, and other divisions under supervision.

·      Help prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and measurement sheets.

·      Learn and use estimation software (Plan Swift, Bluebeam, Excel, AutoCAD).

·      Maintain and organize project files, templates, and historical data.

·      Participate in team discussions for scope clarifications and bid reviews.

·      Support in data entry, formatting, and cost breakdown preparation.

·      Follow company procedures, deadlines, and quality standards.

·      Communication and relationship management with US contractors and subcontractors and other construction professionals

Required Skills & Competencies:

      Strong interest in construction estimation and quantity surveying.

·      Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

·      Good mathematical and analytical skills.

·      Basic knowledge of Excel and Planswift.

·      Eagerness to learn estimation tools like PlanSwift / Bluebeam.

·      Good communication and teamwork abilities.

·      Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Education & Experience:

·
      Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).

·      O/A Levels graduate (required).

·      Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of internship/training experience.

Training & Development:

·
      Comprehensive in-house training on estimation standards and CSI divisions.

·      Hands-on learning of PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and Excel estimation workflows.

·      Mentorship from experienced estimators and engineers.

·      Growth opportunity into Estimator or Project Estimation Engineer roles.
