Overview

An American Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Logistics Manager
with a strong background in U.S. logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily shipments, managing local fleets and 3PL partners, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective transportation solutions. Strong negotiation skills and shipment planning expertise are essential.
Fluency in English is mandatory
, and an American accent will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management
  • Oversee and coordinate daily shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Manage and optimize local fleet operations and 3PL providers.
  • Shipment Planning & Execution
  • Develop and execute shipment plans that align with customer requirements and cost objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. logistics regulations and safety standards.
  • Vendor & Freight Negotiation
  • Negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs to secure the best possible rates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers.
  • Cost & Performance Optimization
  • Track, monitor, and report logistics KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to minimize freight costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and guide logistics teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and customer service teams to achieve business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in U.S. logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong expertise in shipment planning, freight booking, and cost negotiation.
  • Deep knowledge of fleet management, 3PL operations, and domestic U.S. logistics regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in
    fluent English
    ; an American accent is a plus.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CLTD, CSCMP) is an advantage.
  • Experience with both domestic and international shipping operations.
