Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for inventory optimization, supply chain efficiency, and logistics coordination. The incumbent must have excellent stakeholder management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Optimization: Monitor distributor inventory levels in assigned markets, forecast demand, and develop replenishment strategies to prevent stock-outs and ensure no inventory becomes obsolete.
  • Supply Chain Efficiency: Design and implement strategies to enhance supply chain performance, including safety stock management, and cold chain logistics for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals.
  • Performance Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as delivery timelines, cost efficiencies, and inventory turnover, to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance Strategy: Ensure alignment with international trade regulations and pharmaceutical standards (e.g., GDP, GMP), anticipating market-specific requirements to maintain compliance.
  • Order Management: Oversee the complete export process from order receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment for designated markets.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and execute logistics operations, coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure cost-effective and timely shipments.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and manage pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin ensuring compliance with international trade laws and pharmaceutical standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (production, quality assurance, sales) and external partners to resolve logistical challenges and ensure smooth operations.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum qualification of BBA
  • A minimum of 4-8 years of relevant work experience in exports, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and pharmaceutical logistics (e.g., cold chain, GDP).
  • Proficiency in export documentation and customs clearance processes, and strong analytical skills for inventory forecasting and demand planning.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
