Job Title: Senior Database Developer (Data Warehousing & Cloud Technologies)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Database Developer with 3-4 years of experience in data warehousing, cloud-based solutions, and modern data architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Delta Lakes, and Data Lakes, along with strong SQL and ETL development skills. This role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining data warehouses while ensuring scalability and performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and optimize transactional databases and data warehouses.
  2. Implement modern data warehousing techniques using Snowflake, Delta Lakes, and cloud-based data solutions.
  3. Develop and optimize ETL workflows for seamless data integration.
  4. Work with big data and structured/unstructured data sources to enhance data architecture.
  5. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across systems.
  6. Monitor and improve database and query performance.
  7. Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with applications.
  9. Create and maintain technical documentation for database architectures, ETL pipelines, and best practices.
  10. Stay updated with emerging data warehousing, cloud, and analytics technologies.

Qualifications:

  1. 3-4 years of experience in database development and data warehousing.
  2. Strong expertise in Snowflake, Delta Lakes, Data Lakes, and cloud-based data solutions.
  3. Proficiency in SQL, PLSQL, T-SQL, and ETL frameworks.
  4. Experience with Python or scripting languages for data transformations.
  5. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  6. Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize data processes.
  7. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
