Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage the complete payroll function for a large-scale BPO environment. The role requires proven expertise in processing payroll for a minimum of 1,000 employees, ensuring strict compliance with statutory regulations, and collaborating closely with the Finance team to maintain accuracy and timely disbursement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the BPO industry and be skilled in managing high-volume, complex payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for a workforce of 1,000+ employees within the BPO environment.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with all Pakistani labor laws, EOBI, and tax regulations.
  • Maintain payroll data integrity through timely inputs, reconciliations, and internal audits.
  • Accurately manage and process complex employee claims, deductions, and final settlements.
  • Generate comprehensive payroll reports for variance analysis and financial management.
  • Serve as the primary contact for resolving escalated employee payroll queries and discrepancies.
  • Optimize and maintain the payroll system to enhance efficiency in high-volume operations.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure seamless month-end closing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in a Payroll Specialist role, responsible for processing payroll for a minimum of 1,000 employees.
  • Mandatory experience working within the BPO or a large-scale 3rd Party Outsourcing environment.
  • Expertise in Pakistani labor laws, EOBI, and tax regulations pertaining to high-volume payroll processing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience utilizing recognized payroll software platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and demonstrated ability to manage highly confidential information.
