Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify potential clients in the shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics industry, focusing on expanding Skylink's client base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting sales targets, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with new clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, leveraging this data to identify new business opportunities and improve service offerings.
  • Work closely with the operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of logistics services and excellent customer experience.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to enhance the company's market position, including sales campaigns, presentations, and proposals.
  • Identify leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, and other sales channels; follow up with potential clients to convert leads into long-term business.
  • Negotiate service agreements and pricing with potential clients to ensure both competitive rates and profitable business terms for Skylink.
  • Provide regular updates and detailed reports on sales progress, forecasts, market insights, and client interactions to senior management.
  • Ensure existing clients are satisfied with the services provided and explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1 year experience shipping, freight forwarding, and customs regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing complex sales cycles, B2B sales or account management, preferably in the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry. Prior experience in in the logistics sector.
