About the Role

A US-based accounting services firm is seeking a Senior Associate – US Accounting Services for its Karachi back office team willing to work in night shift (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM) Monday to Friday.

The role involves handling accounting operations for US clients, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for US clients.
  • Record journal entries and adjustments in accounting software.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, and payables.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and client policies.
  • Communicate effectively with the US-based accounting team for deliverables and clarifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: CAF / CA Finalist / Fresh CA Qualified / ACCA Affiliate
  • Experience: Articles completed from a recognized audit firm (mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Pay: Rs150, Rs200,000.00 per month
