The Role
We're seeking a
Senior Expense Management Analyst
to drive cost optimization and enforce strong expense controls across the organization. Unlike traditional finance roles, this position is
not focused on month-end close or standard reporting
. Instead, you'll concentrate on
expense oversight, policy adherence, and cost efficiency
that directly impacts Nysonian's growth and profitability.

You'll work closely with business units, procurement, and operations teams to analyze spending patterns, enforce accountability, and uncover opportunities for sustainable cost savings.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and analyze operating expenses across the organization to identify cost drivers and trends
  • Ensure adherence to corporate expense policies and flag exceptions for review
  • Conduct in-depth expense reviews and deep dives to uncover savings opportunities
  • Partner with business units to challenge spending patterns and drive cost-efficiency initiatives
  • Develop and deliver actionable, executive-ready expense reporting for leadership
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to enhance cost transparency and accountability
  • Continuously improve expense management processes and tools

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's or professional certification preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in expense management, cost analysis, FP&A, or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to challenge assumptions diplomatically and influence stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis tools
  • Excellent communication skills with experience creating leadership-ready reports
