Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on biomaterials, including polymers, ceramics, and composites for medical applications.
  • Perform synthesis, fabrication, and characterization of biomaterials using techniques such as spectroscopy, microscopy, and mechanical testing.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate material properties, biocompatibility, and degradation profiles.
  • Assist in developing and optimizing biomaterial formulations for specific medical applications such as tissue engineering, drug delivery, and implantable devices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, biologists, and clinicians, to develop innovative medical solutions.
  • Document research findings, prepare technical reports, and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage research inventory.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciemces, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in biomaterials or related research, including material synthesis and characterization techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced research environment.
