About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Assistant Sales & Business Growth specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for driving new business acquisition, with a specific focus on staff augmentation services and latest IT service offerings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the software house/IT services ecosystem and a proven ability to mature leads into profitable business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify, research, and qualify new sales leads through various channels (Apollo, Apollo Next, Upwork, cold calling, networking, social selling, market analysis).
- Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute strategic outreach plans targeting companies with staff augmentation needs and those requiring custom software development services.
- Sales Cycle Management: Nurture leads through the sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client needs deeply, especially relating to skill gaps, team expansion, and project requirements, and position our IT staffing and software solutions effectively.
- SEO Support: Assist in implementing basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO strategies) for relevant content and service pages to drive organic inbound leads.
- Market Expertise: Leverage knowledge of how IT software houses and staff augmentation models operate to articulate our value proposition clearly to prospects.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and progress in the CRM system and provide regular reports on pipeline status and forecasted closures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions align with our capabilities and client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the IT Staff Augmentation or Software Services industry.
- Industry Knowledge (Mandatory): Deep understanding of the operational models, challenges, and terminology used by IT software houses and the competitive landscape of staff augmentation.
- Lead Maturity: Proven track record of successfully converting cold leads and mid-stage opportunities into signed contracts (i.e., maturing leads to businesses).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
