What is Expert Data Center Infra Planning?

Expert Data Center Infra Planning role is reporting to Manager Data Center Infra Planning. In this position, you will be playing a vital role in Capacity Analysis, Expansion and Modernization of Power infrastructure at Data Centers. Expert Data Center Infra Planning is collaborating with multiple internal stakeholder departments and Thrid Party Customers. This role has a special focus on collaboration with Bizz Team and Colo Customers to offer customize solutions for Data Center hosting.

What does Expert Data Center Infra Planning do?

  • Data Center Power & Cooling Capacity Analysis & upgradation.
  • Transformers, Generators, ATS, UPS & Rectifiers Capacity Planning.
  • New Operational Excellence Initiatives for PUE Improvement.
  • EOL Modernization of Passive Infra at Data Center.
  • Process Automation, Passive Network Performance Monitoring & Analytic Tools implementation (DCIM).
  • Equipment Ordering PR/PO issuance and Invoicing.
  • Budget Management.
  • Preparing Business Plans for Expansion and New data Centers.
  • Tenders & Contracts Management.
  • Inventory Management.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Data Center Infra Planning?

  • Bachelor's in (Electrical/Power/Telecom/Electronics or Relevant) from a reputable university.
  • 4 + Year of Experience in Data Center Design.
  • Data Center Design Certifications from Uptime/TIA-942 is preferred.
  • Experience of working on CAD is an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Conflict Management.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Detail and result oriented, persistent, confident, adaptable and positive attitude.
