Technical Service Specialist

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

In this role, you will be responsible to provide professional technical advice to our customers, by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met, and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer's satisfaction.

This position will report to Regional Sales Manager and will be based in Karachi.

Responsibilities:

• Give clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff on paint application by working on-site with relevant client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met and in accordance with customer expectations.
• Carry out inspections of specific projects assigned to you by your direct manager by working independently, following the ITP and working procedures in order to ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification.
• Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met
• Works independently as Technical Service Specialist, attending and leading projects as defined by their line manager.

What We Look for:

• Must holds Bachelors degree in Engineering preferably Chemical or Mechanical
• Proven 5+ years of technical experience in protective coatings application ideally in marine or industrial sector.
• Excellent communication and customer service skill.
