Field Service Engineer

What will you do?

• Perform basic Power Audits of customer's distribution systems, working with Sales to complete Availability Assessments.
• Document all required information for each site visit performed
• Work with other team members to complete custom and large installation projects
  Properly document, label, and assist Schneider Electric Service Partners in site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform Maintenance and troubleshooting on MV panel, LV panels, MCC panels and dry type transformers.
• Perform And Implement from design till implementation of PME and PSO.(Scada)
• Perform Installation testing and commissioning of vcb,acb,vfd,AHF, dtr and relays .similarly able to design the system as per customer requirement
• Must be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving only general guidance with respect to overall objectives. Work is usually quite independent of other team members
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, must be able to communicate effectively to various intellectual levels.
• 7 X 24 Field Service availability when assigned
• Available to travel cross the Pakistan when assigned

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• 1. Installation, Testing & Commission of Medium Voltage Panel,Low Voltage Panel & Dry Type Transformer.
  2. From 5 to 8 years of Experience in Field Service 
  3. Able to carry out Testing of Relays, VFD , ACB, AHF  & VCB.
  4. Design & Implementation of PME & PSO.
  5. Ability to lead a team for a shutdown(Preventive & Corrective Maintenance).
  6. Experience in doing Preventive Maintenance of MV,LV, Transformer, VFD, VCB & ACB
  7. Experience of designing the System from MV(11KV)  till the Load.
  8. Good Knowledge of Using the Software like ETAP & AutoCAD
  9. Past Experience of doing the Network Analysis of complete system.
  10. Knowledge of implementing all the safety Protocol. (LOTO,RISK ASSESMENT & ARC Flash Studies)
