Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers and systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform user management, file system management, and process monitoring.
  • Apply patches, updates, and perform system hardening to maintain security.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues on Linux systems.
  • Manage services such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL, DNS, DHCP, and mail servers.
  • Configure and monitor system backups, disaster recovery, and failover solutions.
  • Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or tools like Ansible/Puppet.
  • Maintain system documentation, logs, and configuration records.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and network teams to optimize system performance.
