Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales & Onboarding Consultant who will serve as a critical link between our marketing efforts, prospective clients, and long-term customer success.
You will:
- Convert inbound leads from the digital marketing agency and internal channels into paying customers
- Deliver product demos and onboarding sessions
- Reactivate warm/cold leads and nurture client relationships
- Ensure alignment between marketing materials and product offerings
- Manage accounts through their full journey, including upselling, cross-selling, and off-boarding
This is a client-facing, communication-intensive role requiring fluency in English, strong negotiation skills, and an ability to understand the Terapage platform deeply.
Key Responsibilities Lead Handling & Sales Conversion
- Receive, qualify, and convert leads generated by the digital marketing agency.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, challenges, and fit.
- Deliver persuasive product demonstrations via video calls.
- Create and send tailored demo video recordings to prospects.
- Prepare proposals, pricing packages, and follow-up communications.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions in CRM or Trello (or similar tools).
Upselling, Cross-Selling & Client Value Expansion
- Understand all product features, updates, and use cases deeply.
- Identify opportunities for add-ons, upgrades, and complementary services.
- Educate clients on additional features that can enhance their outcomes.
Client Onboarding & Account Management
- Provide smooth onboarding for all new clients, including initial setup and training.
- Ensure clients fully understand how to use the platform effectively.
- Monitor account activity, usage, and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins to reinforce engagement.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical or service issues efficiently.
Reactivation & Follow-Up Activities
- Consistently follow up with warm, cold, and dormant leads.
- Implement nurturing sequences and personalised outreach messages.
- Re-engage prospects who previously declined or paused interest.
Marketing Alignment & Feedback
- Review marketing materials, advertisements, and digital messaging for accuracy and alignment with real product capability.
- Provide suggestions and feedback for improvements in communication, targeting, and messaging.
- Collaborate closely with the digital marketing team to refine lead quality and campaign outcomes.
Reporting & Documentation
- Track and report sales pipeline progress, deal stages, and performance metrics.
- Document onboarding steps and maintain updated client records.
- Contribute insights to improve sales scripts, demo templates, and onboarding workflows.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Proven experience in sales, client onboarding, or account management
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and presentation abilities
- Ability to conduct engaging video call demos
- Confidence in converting leads into paying clients
- Experience working with CRMs, pipeline management tools, or Trello
- High reliability, strong follow-up discipline, and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn technical products and explain them simply
Preferred
- Experience in SaaS, research platforms, or digital tools
- Background in marketing, sales consultancy, or customer success
- Familiarity with outbound/inbound funnels and lead qualification
- Ability to create quick demo videos or screen-recorded tutorials
- Flexibility with working hours to meet client availability across regions
