Roles and Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming client calls and provide prompt technical support.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, resolving where possible or escalating appropriately.
  • Create, update, and track tickets in the service desk system with accurate documentation.
  • Monitor ticket queues, prioritize based on SLAs, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with senior technical staff and participate in training to expand your technical skills.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by sharing insights and best practices with the team.

Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support or technical support roles.
  • Solid understanding of IT concepts, hardware, software, and networking.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and ITIL practices is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA A+/Network+, or ITIL are advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn, be mentored, and grow into more advanced technical roles.
