We are looking for a Quality Assurance Executive / Microbiologist who is responsible for ensuring the microbiological quality and safety of products like whole spices, recipe mixes, spice powders, herbs, seasonings, corn flour and desserts like custards, jellies, kheer mixes, vermicelli and future-forward food innovation products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards by conducting microbiological testing, monitoring manufacturing environments, and supporting quality assurance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
- Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and hygiene practices.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, physical checks, and lab analysis (moisture, microbiology, etc.).
- Record and report non-conformities to the Quality Manager / Junior Manager.
- Ensure proper documentation of QA/QC activities (batch records, test reports, logbooks).
- Verify cleaning, sanitation, and pest control records.
- Check labels and packaging for accuracy and compliance.
- Support in shelf-life studies and stability testing.
- Assist during internal & external audits (PSQCA, PFA, Halal, ISO, customer audits).
- Provide on-floor training to workers on hygiene and food safety practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MPhil / BS (Hons) in Food Science, Food Technology,
- 1–2 years' experience in QA/QC (MPhil Fresh graduates with internships can also apply)
- Knowledge of basic food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, Halal, ISO
- Ability to perform routine lab testing and maintain records.
- Strong MS Word and Excel Skills
