Role Description

Responsible for preparing and filing monthly Federal and Punjab Sales Tax returns in compliance with FBR and PRA regulations. Key duties include monthly input, sales, and output tax reconciliations, preparing documentation for tax notices and audits, managing weekly income tax withholding payments, and supporting Rule 42 reconciliations under the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.

Qualification:
M. Com/MBA Finance

Experience:
05 years

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file
    monthly Federal Sales Tax returns
    in compliance with FBR requirements.
  • Prepare and file
    monthly Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) sales tax returns
    in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform monthly
    input tax reconciliations
    between tax returns and the financial ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct monthly
    sales and output tax reconciliations
    , verifying alignment between tax filings and general ledger records.
  • Assist in preparing
    documentation, data extracts, and working papers
    for responding to tax notices, assessments, and audit proceedings.
  • Weekly
    payment of income tax withheld
    against supply & services.
  • Support in preparing
    reconciliations and summaries under Rule 42 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001
