Job Overview:

Funprime Technology is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Accounts Assistant
to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing accounts, handling FBR-related matters, preparing financial records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations within a tech or software firm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare, verify, and post invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
  • Support payroll processing, expense management, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Handle
    FBR tax filings
    ,
    sales tax
    , and
    income tax documentation
    .
  • Maintain bank statements, perform reconciliations, and track cash flow.
  • Assist in preparing management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Work closely with internal departments for expense tracking and approvals.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of
    accounting principles
    and
    financial reporting
    .
  • Experience in
    taxation, FBR filings
    , and
    bank reconciliation
    .
  • Proficient in
    MS Excel
    ,
    QuickBooks
    , or other accounting software.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent).
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in a
    tech or IT company

  • Familiarity with
    Pakistan's taxation system
    and
    FBR procedures
    is a must.
