We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Systems and Network Administrator to manage and optimize our in-office technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in configuring MikroTik network devices, setting up secure VPN access, and developing a stable on-premise server and domain environment. This role is critical for ensuring our internal network is fast, reliable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Management & MikroTik Configuration:
  • Design, implement, and maintain the office network infrastructure, primarily using MikroTik RouterOS devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Configure advanced routing, firewall rules, Quality of Service (QoS), and VLANs.
  • VPN and Remote Access:
  • Implement and manage secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) solutions (e.g., L2TP/IPsec, WireGuard) on MikroTik devices for remote user access and site-to-site connectivity.
  • Configure VPN on individual end-user devices.
  • Server and Domain Development:
  • Set up, configure, and manage a proper internal server environment (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
  • Develop and maintain a secure internal domain (e.g., Active Directory) for centralized user, security, and resource management.
  • Manage network services like DNS, DHCP, and file/print sharing.
  • IT Support and Security:
  • Ensure all network devices and servers are patched and protected from security threats.
  • Provide essential desktop and end-user support related to network access and domain functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
  • Mandatory: In-depth, hands-on experience with MikroTik RouterOS configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining various VPN protocols on network devices and client machines.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server (or equivalent Linux server) environments, including setup of Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), and user administration.
  • Solid understanding of core networking principles (TCP/IP, routing, subnets, NAT, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) or higher certification.
  • Experience with server virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware).
