About the Role:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial documentation, and assist with reporting and reconciliation tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in accounting principles, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
  • Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and payment tracking
  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and purchase orders
  • Assist in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
  • Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for audits and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, logistics) to resolve discrepancies
  • Provide support in preparing management reports and financial analyses
  • Assist in implementing accounting controls and process improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified ACCA, ICMA, or CA
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience (internships or e-commerce experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or Odoo is a plus
  • Basic understanding of GAAP principles
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
