
Corporate Business Development Manager

Role
The Corporate Travel BDM is responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new corporate travel accounts and developing long-term business relationships. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, delivering tailored travel solutions, and maximizing revenue for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Acquisition
- Identify and target potential corporate clients through research, networking, and referrals.
- Create and deliver tailored proposals to meet each client's travel requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and close new business deals.
- Account Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing corporate clients.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive account management.
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with company goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, finance, and travel consultant teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate with marketing for campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity reports in CRM systems.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on progress against targets.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Proven sales or business development experience, ideally in corporate travel, TMC (Travel Management Company), or hospitality.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the corporate travel sector.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales/business development experience.
- Knowledge of GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is an advantage.
- Performance Metrics
- New client accounts won and retained.
- Revenue generated from new and existing corporate travel accounts.
- Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
