Role

The Corporate Travel BDM is responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new corporate travel accounts and developing long-term business relationships. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, delivering tailored travel solutions, and maximizing revenue for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition
  • Identify and target potential corporate clients through research, networking, and referrals.
  • Create and deliver tailored proposals to meet each client's travel requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business deals.
  • Account Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing corporate clients.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive account management.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and travel consultant teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate with marketing for campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity reports in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on progress against targets.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven sales or business development experience, ideally in corporate travel, TMC (Travel Management Company), or hospitality.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the corporate travel sector.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales/business development experience.
  • Knowledge of GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is an advantage.
  • Performance Metrics
  • New client accounts won and retained.
  • Revenue generated from new and existing corporate travel accounts.
  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Master's (Required)

Experience:

  • BDM: 5 years (Required)
