Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead QC activities during production. This role ensures that all fabricated components meet specifications, international codes, and client requirements while upholding our high standards for safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise QC inspectors and shop floor activities.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, fabrication standards, and quality codes (ISO, ASME, API, AWS, etc.).
  • Conduct material inspections, dimensional checks, welding inspections, and oversee NDT coordination.
  • Monitor welders' qualifications and adherence to approved procedures.
  • Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and traceability records.
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, client requirements, and industry standards.
  • Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Mentor and train QC staff in inspection methods and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • DAE or B.Tech (Hons) in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years' hands-on experience in production and QC within mechanical fabrication, machine shop and CNC process (oil & gas or heavy industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of welding procedures, material inspection, and fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO, ASME, API, and AWS standards.
  • Certification in welding inspection (CSWIP, AWS-CWI) preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
